Recognise instead of searching
Tiles with large first-page previews: a scan is easier to recognise by eye than by file name.
Trash first
Removed files go to a trash and can be restored. They are deleted for good only when you confirm it there.

Your archive, your server.
Omnia runs on your own server; database, archive and settings are one folder. The AI filing, switched on by default and optional, sends document text, or page images of scans, to the AI provider you set.
The app listens only locally; access goes through your own reverse proxy with a password.
Google Gemini by default, or OpenAI or Anthropic. Switch it off and Omnia files with its local rules.

How do I get Omnia?

Does everything stay on my server?
The archive does. With AI filing switched on, the text of a document, or the page image of a scan, is sent to the AI provider you set. You can switch the AI filing off.
What happens when I delete something?
It goes to the trash first and can be restored to the inbox. It is deleted for good only when you confirm it in the trash.
